SUMMER STAYCATION - 2018 - BALLARD LOCKS

I had no idea what the Ballard Locks where so I was looking forward to finding out. It turns out that visiting the Locks and seeing what goes on there was far more interesting and entertaining than the concert😐.

Points of Interest:

• The Locks are located in an area called Salmon Bay.
• The Ballard Locks carry more boat traffic than any other lock in the United States.
• The locks attract more than one million visitors every year, making it one of Seattle's top tourist attractions.
• Three species of Pacific Salmon pass through the Locks during the summer months and travel 40-50 miles upriver to spawn.

The  weather continues to be gorgeous, mid-80's the last few

days. I am loving it.
