Diva's Downtime

The fundraiser held last Tuesday evening to support Debrena Jackson-Gandy's national book tour was a smashing success. This is Ms Jackson-Gandy's 3rd book, "The Love Lies", to be released September 15th. Island Soul, a local restaurant in Seattle, hosted the event and it was packed. The owner, Theo Martin, and his Island Soul staff did a fantastic job and everybody had a great time (Me, far right, Vernie & LaFonda). 
To learn more about Debrena and how you can support her book tour check her out on Face Book . I was shocked to learn that Debrena mentioned me in her new book. The Sista is claiming her 15-seconds of fame!
