There's another marathon scheduled for Labor Day weekend but I've decided not to participate. I'm still walking, however, (last Saturday, 8 miles).
It's cause for celebration because myself and many others on the Sound Steps team have continued their walking program. I'm averaging 3-days a week on my own and love it. Find something you love and do it.
Walking is easier on the body and joints but you can still get a good workout, especially if you're consistent (30-minutes, 3-days a week).
Team up with a friend for support. According to the American Heart Association, it's the simplest way to help improve your health.
Self-care = Self-love.
