Holiday Spirits


As you make your holiday rounds you can help reduce your calorie intake by avoiding a few unhealthy drinks.


1. Eggnog ~ This popular holiday drink is made with milk, cream, sugar and eggs. Eggnogcan be up to 460 calories per eight-ounce serving (alcohol not included). 

If you can't help yourself (like me) treat your glass of eggnog like a very indulgent dessert, siping it slowly and savoring the delicious taste.

2. White Russians ~ The added sugars in this cream & Kahlua concoction is high in calories too.


3. Hot Buttered Rum ~ Hot melted butter, rum and brown sugar, this drink is very popular
during the holidays; about 350 calories per eight-ounce serving.

Ok, it's the holidays so enjoy yourself but in moderation!
