THAT"JOLYN ON THE RIGHT

In a conversation with a young friend of mine, Jolyn, we decided to meet every 2-weeks at one of our favorite neighborhood cafes to work on our blogging projects. I was thrilled in that Jolyn is a tech wizard and can help the seasoned citizen with all her computer questions. We call our get together Laptops & Lattes.

We also decided that two things could be accomplished. We could support each other in being consistent with the tasks at hand and maintain our friendship connection. Staying socially connected is important especially after one retires.

Challenge yourself  this week to schedule a get together with a friend. Not through Face Book, Twitter or other social media sites. I mean an actual face-to-face connection. It takes some effort these days but you're worth it. Remember, only you can make yourself a priority.
