I went on a Caribbean cruise in May which turned out to be very disappointing. Don't get me wrong. I had a good time. The ship was awesome, I enjoyed the ports (St. Thomas, St. Martin, and Nassau). Good food, fabulous weather, all that good stuff. I even zip-lined. However, a word of caution! Be very selective about who you choose as traveling companions. It can make or break your experience. I'm just sayin!

I decided to extend my vacation by planning a staycation once I got home.
If you don't have anything planned this summer, I suggest you check out the sights in your own backyard.
