Bump It Up a Notch

THEN: It seems that in ancient times, Valentine's Day marked the remembrance of a bishop by the name of Valentine who disobeyed the Emperor by marrying young Roman soldiers (he was executed for his disobedience). A serious price to pay in the name of love!

NOW: in my opinion, designating only one day to express love, gratitude, and appreciation for the ones we love seems insufficient. On top of that, the  jesture is so commercialized it makes it almost mandatory to give gifts of candy, cards, jewelry, etc.

If you don't, there's hell-to-pay or you're guilt-ridden. Now, I ask, does this signify love?

This Valentine's Day why not set the intention to show your love, gratitude, and appreciation throughout the year.Thoughtfulness is priceless and always appreciated.

To Infinite Possibilities
