Not Just for Couples

In some cultures Valentine's Day is also a time to appreciate friends:

Finland - Valentine's Day is refered to as "Friends Day." It's a time to remember all good friends and not focus solely on romance.

Guatemala - Valentine's Day is know as a day of love and friendship. The custom is practiced similar to the way we do it here in the U.S. but also includes the appreciation of friends.

We might consider showing appreciation to our friends too. Love and appreciation is not just for couples.
