| I went to an art exhibit yesterday with a young friend of mine, Jolyn, She emailed me some great pictures from the event but unfortunately I was not able to retrieve them.. Anyway, the exhibit was held at a gallery here in Seattle, The C Gallery, 855 Hiawatha Place S, Seattle, WA 98144, Cheryl Shaw, Owner. The name of the exhibit was "Old Friends Networks; Celebrating the Strength of African American Art & Artists. The two featured artists, Eric D. Salisbury & Charles Bibbs were there to share their stories about art and the world of art from a black prospective. Both these men were so gracious and personable it made the exhibit that much more enjoyable; their work is outstanding! I think everyone there was inspired to explore their own creativity and left with a new found appreciation for art. I know I did. I encourage you to check these two artists out: Charles Bibbs www.THEWORLDART.COM / www.BIBBSART.COM Eric Salisbury The C Gallery, c.artgallery@gmail.com Together we thrive, Jacqueline |
