The Wizard of Oz






Dr Oz says that jumping out of bed in a panic is not the way to start your day. He recommends doing something that gives you a sense of confidence like doing some stretches. This can release tension stored in the hips and lower back. If you're new to exercise start slow. You can add some push-ups and sit-ups. He also suggest putting your toilet seat down and bend your knees as though you were going to sit down. Starting your day off with a sense of accomplishment is very powerful, says Dr. Oz.

Another way to begin your day is with prayer and meditation. Every morning I do both, finding it sets the tone for my day and brings peace to my mind. In my opinion, consistency is important so attempt to do it at the same time on designated days if you can't do it every day. You will find yourself looking forward to it. Repeating it at night before sleeping calms the mind, contributing to a better nights sleep.
