The holiday season is not a joyous time for everybody. For many its a time of sadness; loss of a loved one, feelings of unhappiness, being alone. Everyone experiences ups and downs from time to time but when these feelings don't go away, this may be a sign of depression. According to Dr. Oz, " identifying depression can be tricky especially if it is something you've lived with for a long time or if it runs in your family."
If you've had long-term unhappiness or have lost interest in your day-to-day life, you may want to speak to your doctor or health care practitioner about depression. There are different degrees of depression but there are many things you can do to improve your emotional health. See a doctor or counselor sooner than later. Get the help you need so you can live the life you deserve.
