Blenders vs. Juicers - The Difference

Blenders -  The basics of a blender is that it cuts and breaks down everything. When blending fruits and vegetables the juice is a mix of fibers, skin, stems, core, etc. The blades quickly rotate and chops the produce. Most blenders are used for smoothies and milkshakes.

Juicers - The great thing about juicers is that they separate the juice from the fibers compared to a blender. This produces a light and easy to drink fluid. One major benefit of using a juicer instead of a blender to make juices is that it easier for the body to absorb the nutrients. Make note that not all produce works well in a juicer; avocado and banana. They would do better in a blender.

The most common juicer today is called a centrifugal juicer. These juicers can come with or without pulp ejectors. The centrifugal juicer with pulp extractor is the one I use and is the most popular. Juicers vary in price but if you're going to use your juicer daily, it will pay in the long run to spend a few extra dollars for a good-quality machine. Save these dates and sign-up for:
