Super Foods



A good friend of mine, Sonya, called me the other day to say there was an episode on The View she thought I might be interested in. Of course, I checked it out to see what they had to say about these so-called "super foods." As we all know, a new miracle cure comes out every minute so just so you know, I'm merely the messenger, I'm not selling the message! I repeat, I'm not advocating any one of these products nor am I suggesting anyone run out a buy them. I am ONLY providing information because I thought what was said was interesting.

1. Caralluma Fimbriata - India: A type of  cactus, this plant was used during famines. It stops fat cells from forming.

2. Green Coffee Bean - South America:  According to Dr. Duncan, the green coffee bean stops the absorption of sugar into the blood stream. To be effective it must contain Chlorogenic Acid.

3. Moringa Tree - Africa: Can be taken in capsule form or tea and has 3 times the potassium of bananas, 25 times the iron of spinach, 7 times the Vitamin C of oranges, and 4 times the calcium of milk.
