In the continued spirit of International Women's Month, I wanted to report that Lourdes E. Alvarado-Ramos has been appointed as Director of Veteran's Affairs; the first woman!
Her background includes a leadership position with the Veterans Services Division and each of the State Veterans Homes as Superintendent. Ms Alvarado-Ramos served in the military where she received numerous awards and decorations.
Congratulations Director Alvarado-Ramos.
