Brain Power





We've all heard about the benefits of antioxidants. They are so important for so many different reasons. In the case of the brain, antioxidants help fight the effects of free radicals which can really reek havoc;  leading to damage of DNA. This can then lead to dementia or other neurological disorders. We can get some of those free-radical fighting warriors in many of our fruits and vegetable. May I suggest you include one or more of the following into your diet sooner than later. Preserving the grey-matter for as long as possible is important! 




  • Wild Blueberries
  • Blackberries
  • Black Plums
  • Granny Smith Apples
  • Red Delicious Apples
  • Prunes
  • Raspberries
  • Strawberries
  • Sweet Cherries
