Marathon Training Update


As mentioned, I'm in training for a walking marathon at the end of June. Last Saturday, I walked 5.5 miles. I must admit, walking with a group makes it easier for me. Robert, our trainer, is my point man. If I can keep up with him, I know I'm doing OK!

Robert made walking that 5.5 miles look like a stroll (not for me, for him). It's not a race so everyone can walk at their own pace. My goal is to keep up with Robert and so far, mission accomplished.

This Saturday, the goal is 6.2 miles. I'm up for the challenge and will keep you posted.
