California, "Here I Come" ~ July 19th

The adventure continues. I'm on my way to the Bay Area via Amtrak. It's the first time I've ever taken the train so I'm excited. The highlight of the trip is the wedding of a dear friends daughter but I also plan to act like a tourist once I arrive even though I grew up in the area. It will be great seeing old friends and visiting places I haven't been in years. Update at 11:00!

The plan is to document my trip using my new Galaxy tablet. Hopefully things will go according to plan since I haven't quite mastered the tablet yet. My high-tech friends are proud of me, knowing how "low-tech" I am. I'm proud of myself too. I think I'm doing pretty good for a "seasoned citizen."
