I had a conversation with a woman in my aerobics class this morning who told me she's been juicing for 10-years. She's in my age bracket so this info was impressive. She went on to say she was prompted to start juicing because of a digestive issue; it has helped her considerably.
Juicing has lead her to eat a glutton-free diet and she stated, "I'm thinking I may consider a raw-food only diet". She exercises regularly and is conscious of what she eats.
I would say she's living a self-care and wellness lifestyle, a perfect example of what I'm advocating. I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation and was inspired by what she had to say..
I continue to juice on an average of 2-3 times a week, primarily vegetables. This program works well for me right now but I may reconsider after my conversation today. If you haven't seen "Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead," I strongly suggest you check it out. It may encourage you to incorporate juicing into your health-care and wellness program.
Self-care = Self-love
Together we thrive,
Jacqueline
