There are pros and cons to juicing, like with everything. Here are a few benefits:
- Juicing allows us to take vitamins & minerals in directly and unaltered.
- Juicing allows important enzymes to be easily released into the body.
- Juicing allows you to fill yourself up with good nutrition and cut down on the ingestion of fatty foods.
- Provides needed fluid to the cells.
- Flushes toxins from the cells.
- Replaces expended vitamins and minerals.
- Assists with regular bowel movements. Regularity rids the body of waste that, if retained, can lead to disease.
- When you consume fruits and vegetables in pure juice form, the stomach can more readily process the vitamins and minerals while using less of the body's energy.
- Juicing can assist in weight release.
- Juicing can increase energy.
I read an article online (Web MD) that offers additional thoughts on the pros and cons of juicing. Reading the article may help you decide whether juicing is something you might consider.
I definitely feel like I have more energy, my digestion and elimination is better, and I feel I'm taking in more vegetable nutrients than I would ordinarily. I plan to continue juicing at least 2-3 times a week if not more. Juicing doesn't mean you can eliminate eating fruits and vegetable but, in my opinion, it does help.

Remember to consult your doctor or health care professional before beginning a new diet especially if you take medications.
