Get in the Zone

Did you know our bodies are designed to last at least 100 years. There are areas in the world called The Blue Zones where people, on average, live 100+ years.

"The Blue Zones" are the Greek Island of Ikaria, Nicoya, Costa Rica, Okinawa, Japan, Sardinia, Italy and Loma Linda, California.

Some of the common practices of these people are:

  • Keep Moving - Find ways to move naturally, like walking or gardening.
  • Find Purpose and pursue it with passion
  • Slow Down - Work less, rest, take vacations.
  • Stop Eating - When you're 80 percent full, stop!
  • Dine on Plants - Eat more vegetables and less meat & processed foods.
  • Drink Red Wine - Do it consistently but in moderation.
  • Join a group - Create a healthy social network.
  • Feed your soul - Engage in spiritual activities.
  • Love your tribe - Make family/friends a high priority.

Our bodies do so much without any assistance from us. If your body could talk, what would it say about how its treated?

Show some gratitude for the gift of life by taking the best care of your body which includes healthy food choices.

You don't have to change everything at once. Change one thing, one eating habit that no longer serves you. Take just one step, then another, then another.

Self-care = Self-love,

Together we thrive,

Jacqueline
