Prayer and the Brain

According to Dr. Andrew Newberg certain areas of the brain are affected by prayer. The overall result is an improvement in brain function and well-being.

Did you know the frontal lobe is activated when we read, focus our attention or speak. Focused prayer in this area can help protect the brain against age-related deterioration.


Prayer, done at least 12-minutes a day, on a consistent basis, is the recommendation.
