Setting Intentions

When deciding to set your intention, it’s best to do so in a positive, present and affirmative manner. Avoid negative intentions, “I will not eat red meat.” Instead, “I intend to eat healthier for my overall well-being.” In this way we are affirming the positive not cultivating a sense of guilt or inadequacy
The following are 5 tips to help you set your intentions this New Year.

1. Set Believable Intentions – Make sure you don’t make your intentions so way out that you can’t believe they can become a reality. If you can’t honestly believe your intention will manifest, it probably won’t.

 2. Let Go of HOW – I know it’s hard but if you get stuck on how you negate the infinite possibilities. Leave the how to The Higher Power. Things can come about in totally unexpected way. This is the truth!

 3. Make Sure Your Intentions Have Fuel – Your intentions won’t have a chance without desire and emotion to fuel them. Set intentions for something your heart desires. Emotions and desire will motivate you forward and have the Law of Attraction helping you too!

4. Clarity is Power – When you are clear when setting your intention, everything will align to support you in its manifestation. You don’t have to have all the specifics but you want to be clear in your heart and mind that you really want this and it is time.

 5. Create a Vision Board – This is a fun and simple way to create a visual of what you’d like to manifest in your life. You can make your board as big or small as you like. All you need to do is cut and glue pictures that speak to you and what you want to achieve. It’s a project you can do alone or with a group of friends.

Think of your intentions as an arrow, hitting a target. Focus of the target, not the flight path. Here’s the question: What do you really want?

Set your intentions and prepare to receive.

Happy New Year
