Exfoliating is the best way to keep your skin soft and smooth. Clearing away dry, dead skin cells will help in the penetration of your favorite Soul Purpose Body Butter. Just like facial exfoliation, regular body exfoliation can help prevent blemishes, clogged pores, blackheads and acne.
Keep it simple:
1. Incorporate a body exfoliating into your shower routine at least once-a-week. Not only will it stimulate circulation, your body moisturizers will penetrate better too.
2. Use one of the yummy Soul Purpose Body Scrubs, starting at your feet, working your way up the body towards your heart using small, circular motions. Remember, you’re not washing your car so be gentle, especially in chest area.
3. Rinse your skin thoroughly and apply a Soul Purpose Body Custard---Ghanaian Brown Sugar is my favorite. Oooooooo. Love the skin you’re in.
Dry skin brushing is another way to exfoliate and boost circulation. It gets rid of dead cells, tightens skin, and increases skin renewal. Here’s how you do it:
1. Dry brushing is best done in the morning and you need a natural-bristle brush (not synthetic). One with a long handle will allow you to reach all parts of the body.
2. Do not wet the skin before you start brushing.
3. Start at the soles of the feet and work up your legs, to your abdomen, buttocks, back and lastly hands to arms.
4. Brush the skin from each part of the body towards your heart.

5. When brushing the abdomen make circular anti-clockwise strokes, be gentle around the breast area and avoid the nipples.
6. Brush each body part several times before showering or bathing in warm water.
7. Rinse at the end with cool water to invigorate circulation.
