What's Your Type?

You may already know your skin-type, but just in case you don’t, here are three easy ways to help you identify yours.

General Characteristics

Sensitive – This skin-type is easily irritated, usually has very fair, thin skin, and has a low tolerance for the sun. Sensitive skin is common among people of English or Irish decent. (Kindness Hydrating Cleansing Milk, Hydrating Rose-water & Glycerin Beauty Elixir, Nurture Cream - Day, Restorative Night Cream).

Dry to Normal – The skin is somewhat dry, less supple, and prone to wrinkles. There may also be flakiness or dry patches.

Note: As we age, the natural moisture in our skin starts to diminish. You may have had oily skin when you were younger but not so much now. That’s why your skin-care products should change over time. Medication can also contribute to the skin becoming dryer. (Kindness Hydrating Cleansing Milk, Hydrating Rose-water & Glycerin Beauty Elixir, Nurture Cream-Day, Restorative Night Cream).

Combination – This person usually has an oily T-Zone (forehead, nose & chin) and is drier around the perimeter of the face. (Clarifying Vitamin C Face Wash, Balancing Vitamin C Toner,  Nurture Cream).

It is important to first identify your skin-type before selecting your cleansing products. Using products designed specifically for your skin-type will lead to better results. I recommend using one of the formulas from my Soul Purpose Skin-care Collection. This nature-based line has something for everybody.
