Dry skin may come and go depending on the weather; it’s worse during the winter months. If the skin becomes excessively dry, it can become irritated---redness, flakiness and itching. Contributing to drying the skin is the temperature of your bath or shower.
While a hot shower or bath may feel good it’s not good for your skin. Hot water can strip the skin of its moisture and wash away protective oils, so use lukewarm instead to prevent over-drying of the skin.
Self-care = Self-love
Together we thrive,
Jacqueline
