Pilates - June 26th

"I must be right. Never an aspirin. Never injured a day in my life. The whole country, the whole world, should be doing my exercises. They'd be happier." -- Joseph Hubertus Pilates, in 1965, age 86.

Pilates was created by Joseph Pilates in the 1920's. It is a form of resistance training, a system of physical conditioning involving low-impact exercises and stretches. The main purpose of Pilates is strengthening the core muscles. It also provides spinal alignment and body conditioning.

Pilates will increase your strength and stamina. In addition it can also provide:

  • Relief from sleep related issues
  • Chronic pain (back and neck)
  • Provide increased range of motion
  • Improve posture & body awareness
Self-care = Self-love.

Together we thrive,

Jacqueline
