Natures Best

Love the Skin You're In

I've already talked about the importance of taking good care of your skin and can't say enough how important it is to start sooner than later. What products you use is important too! Organic/Nature-based is better for the following reasons:

They Have Less:
  • Parabens
  • Petro-chemicals
  • Synthetic fragrances
  • Synthetic dyes (just to name a few)
More of the Good Stuff:
  • Antioxidants
  • Botanical's
  • Essential Oils
  • Minerals/Vitamins
While I will admit that genetics as well as a healthy diet and lifestyle play a major role in the appearance of your skin. I'm here to tell you that aging will take place no matter what you do BUT you can minimize some of the affects of mother nature. I'm religious about cleansing. If I fall asleep without washing my face, I'll wake up in the middle of the night to do so. It doesn't have to be complicated and you don't have to use hundreds of products but please, please do at least the basics: cleanse, tone, moisturize with products designed for your skin type. Everyone beyond the age of 12-years, in my opinion, needs an eye cream. The area under the skin is more delicate than the rest of the face so eye products are formulated with that in mind. Oh, if you have a drier skin-type you don't necessarily need to use toner. I'm using the Soul Purpose designed for "mature" skin so I don't use a toner daily and when I do, just in the T-zone area. Start today taking good care of your face from the inside to the skin-side.

Have a blessed day,

Jacqueline
