The claim is Pilate's is one of the most popular exercises in the country. It's suppose to be good for a wide range of people; athletes, dancers, seniors, and even women who have just had a baby. According to my Sista friend, Vernie, a Pilate's instructor, it is also great for posture & flexibility. I've only taken a few classes but as soon as Vernie creates a morning class I will start up again. I recently visited a chiropractor who told me my body is out of alignment; due to the work I did for years. If Pilate's can help with that, I'm all for it. There's an exercise for everybody! Find something you enjoy and that you'll stick with. Holistic
self-care includes mind, body & spirit. Nurture yourself from the inside
to the skin side.
