I've been drinking green tea for several years; at least 2-3 cups a day. When working at Ummelina's I learned that green tea had numerous benefits for the skin. One of the major benefits is it helps halt oxidative damage to cells (major cause of aging). Its anti-oxidant properties are said to be more powerful than vitamins C and E. Studies have also found that drinking green tea can be a contributing factor to reducing the risk of several cancers, including skin, breast, lung, colon, and bladder. That really got my attention! A secondary use for green tea bags is to help reduce puffiness around the eyes--moisten 2 tea bags with warm water, relax and lay over closed eyes for 10 minutes.
I live in the coffee capital of the world, Seattle, but green tea still remains my favorite hot beverage. Try it, you might like it!
Blessings,
Jacqueline

Yes! Coffee is my first choice of drink especially in the morning! However, these benefits may change my mind about coffee being my first choice!
