Cierra Sisters, Inc. is an African-American breast cancer survivor and support organization based in Seattle. The Organization was founded by Bridgette Hempsted a breast cancer survivor.
She chose the name Cierra because it means "knowing" to remind us that when we have knowledge, we have power.
Ms. Hempstead is devoted to encouraging the African-American communities affected by breast cancer but welcomes all who are in need of information and support.
