The word Diva has been overused and has, on many occasions, taken on a negative connotation. I checked its definition online and Merriam-Webster dictionary said the first known use of the word was in 1883. I never knew that. Diva actually comes from Latin meaning feminine of divas, god, or divine. I'm personally leaning more towards "divine" myself. Here's how I define Diva:
D - Divine
I - Intelligent
V - Victorious
A - Authentic
Let's break it down, shall we!
- We are all the divine and beloved daughters and sons of the King of the Most High God.
- We were all given divine intelligence but it's up to us to tap into it.
- We have the power to be victors not victims.
- We are already whole, perfect & complete so being our authenic selves is more than sufficient. "Do You."
